Because they're morons. If there's anything they should support till the end of time, it's that product.
But it's business, they are a personal PA, soundbar, ear bud/headphone, and BT speaker store.
They've pretty much discontinued all their passive speakers, except an outdoor set and an inwall set.
The car audio side is still going strong.
Judge 1:
Track 1: Clean. Just a touch forward in mids. Bass is nice, controlled.
Track 2: Good vocals. Image is small.
Track 3: Guitar cuts through well. But just a bit forward. Bass is good.
Judge 1:
Track 1: Nice vocals. Good image. Wide soundstage.
Track 2: Good vocals. Image good.
Track 3: Good guitar. Touch bright in very top.
Overall, very very good.

Judge Vance:
Interesting treatment on the mid. Stunning cosmetics. Very professional cabinet construction.
Personal comments:
I got these done the day before SDC so crossover is not well refined. I hope to tweak them and finish a few final things on the cabinets and have them at CSS Detroit.
Veneer is Pepperwood Burl (raw veneer) from Vennersupplies.com. Pepperwood burl was used on some nice speakers by Salk Sound.
My back has been hurting lately, and I think now I know why. I wondered if it was from hand unloading plywood of the delivery truck or perhaps from cutting firewood, but I think it was from helping David take those speakers off a cart.

Very impressive cabinet work and incredible sound! Congrats on the 1st place finish. Are you planning a construction or crossover design type thread for these speakers? I'm curious as to how they were constructed and what the VituixCAD measurements look like.

Yes, I'll post a build thread after CSS Detroit. I didn't take a ton of pictures, but I got the important things on how I made the curved cabinets.

When I first saw those, I thought to myself, dang, that's throwing down the gauntlet, as the saying goes, in a good way. They really were excellent.
Easy on the eyes, terrible on the spinal region.
