I’ve been looking at a bunch of 6x9 “subs” lately for the doors of my Silverado. I’m curious of your impressions and measurements of those. They look like the ones Rockville sells. While Rockville usually equals flea market garbage, I understand those 6x9s to be actually fairly decent.

Just a small bushing from any hardware store. Most of the weight is on the center bolt and washers.

I'm late to the party but the FR graph looks good as it avoids the infamous 10K dip.
They’re not very matched. Well that sucks.

They look great to me!
Looks like they peeled off the substrate though - did you use that Elmer's spray adhesive on them?
Lol. No that’s for grill cloth

That’s a jig I made so at least both pcs would be the same size. I sandwich the veneer in between the two and then router the edge.

Got some more parts today from the machinist. But I said I would do the finishing touches on them.

Now that’s a sound purchase
I would have done the same thing.
The old guy there estimated they still have about 30 bunks left. I might go get another one after Iowa.

Take more than a 12pk for me to unload that much PB lol.
I have a project or two in mind that could consume some of that stuff

The box under the TV looks familiar.
And its not even 2:00…
Have you messed with the Visaton WG profile any? Specifically with your 1204?
Seems it could work (sans faceplate) with a gasket out of hobby foam sheet, and a backer plate with some all-thread to clamp it in.
Nope. Looks like it should work. I’ll look into it.

Some more stuff to test. Some local some from across the pond.

Top left and 2nd row right woofer look very interesting.
2nd row left - what’s going on there?
Top, left, carbon fiber looking driver with the shiny extented pole piece looks interesting.
The 4" coaxial has my eye . . . as well as the 8" big brother to your 6.5" midwoofers
