If someone asked nicely, Brad has CNC pattern for that tweeter and would probably cut baffles for you - he does excellent work and won't bankrupt you. He is also good at shipping items.

Have you had a chance to measure distortion and/or listen to them? There was a review on the PE product page where someone wasn't happy with the response, but I don't trust reviews at PE at all. I was about to pull the trigger on these last month and the sale ended.
At $7ea I had to pick up a pair to mess with. The specs model pretty well in .8cf sealed and not too bad in 1.2cf with a single DS215-PR which are also $21 right now. Probably a pipe dream hoping they could meet up to last year's $5 buyout rectangle tweeters.
Just noticed these are sold as a pair.. specs sound like some other buyout tweets that PE put up for sale at the same time but with a different faceplate. And those measured realy well considering prices. If that's the case they would be an absolute steal for $3ea if you can stand the gold lettering.
Someone in Amana Iowa has 2 UM18 sub kits for sale as parts on Marketplace - $200. The SPA-1000 amps both have problems, but he says the drivers are good and they are in unfinished flat pack boxes. Wish I had the space for these monsters, but they are just too big for my listening room.

Last Pair of Epique E160 were on sale for 249cad each, orig 341cad ($245). -13% makes 457cad shipped or 327usd shipped. Considering how much these were at $219.98 (google, PE listing) that is a GOOD deal.

Not quite a sale, but figured related. I rarely look at craigslist, but stumbled across a posting of this for sale at a record shop in CBus I'm familiar with. Heck for one fiddy almost worth it as an art piece. Was unknown working condition but said to be working few years ago as they were missing the special 6 prong cables that powers the preamp from the power amp. But at least had one set of 'camac' to rca cables to try the amp out when got home with it. Works, sounds good so far, nice punch kind of like old vintage receivers/amps. 50wpc class AB. Crack it open later to check on the condition of things given it's from 82-89 time range. Think i'll use it to f' with some people on Reddit, like "neighbor gave me this, is it any good or worth anything"

Have not done so yet. Probably will not publish my distortion plots because reasons.
Caved and bought a set of restocked OPAL1. They were cheaper than the sum total of the drivers and PRs at sale prices...

I have been eyeing those $7 woofers. Would be fun to do some sort of line array or tall open baffle tower with them.

I hear ya! For a while I had a UM15 with a 500w amp. Pure heaven bass. But no room in my current house. Maybe 1 12 inch sub.

Solen has two 15W/8530K00 scratch and dent (dust caps) for CA$67.86 for the pair after coupon.
I don't think there are screens in the pole vents, there weren't in mine, so there may be a way to use a dowel to massage them back into position.

While looking through the Solen site. Are these cones really transparent?
Yes. When I have seen transparent cones in real life they usually look black because the box is dark inside.
They need to have LED lights added.
