Can anyone offer guidance on the typical frequency of Solen offering discount codes? I have a few things I need from Solen, but they aren't urgent, so wondering if I should be patient or just proceed w/o discount.

How come we are not talking about that "full range" 5"? Ruler flat response out to the break up, impedance curve indicates some type of shorting rings are involved. Looks to me like a RS beater for $28!
And, because I need more drivers like I need a hole in my head, I just ordered two GRS poly subs 13.99 each and a 10” Max for 84.98 and applied the 10 percent off coupon on top of that. 🙄
Very nice! Those output transformers are pretty beefy for a PP EL84 amp. And I love the tag board & wiring underneath. You can tell whoever built it took pride in their work.

It’s just one the early classic tube amps shown / described in many books. This and a nice reel-to-reel > watching the wheels spinning with the meters dancing, and the warm glow of the tubes.
Sort-a makes me want to build a set of high efficiency speakers.
I'm assuming you guys know this already but evidently if you let your order sit in the PE cart for a few days you get emails with 11% off - scratch that, they just sent another one this time 12% off what's in your cart...

The MP011856 looks familiar. The glass fiber honeycomb 6.5" has me scratching my chin (MP011859)
