Just make sure you use the SAME datum on the blade for both front and back measurements to the miter slot, and all is well - don't forget that all blades have runout.
That didn't take long to clean. I rearranged things this weekend and it dawned on me that my drill press table could pull double duty on the out-feed side of the table saw. It only took me 25 years to figure that out!
Some thoughts from a musician, sound engineer and speaker designer. Some general thoughts then a look at Miles' Kind of Blue and Hotter Than July by Stevie Wonder.
Buddy of mine was going through his Super 8 tapes to have them transferred and found that video. I had it transferred, doctored up the audio a bit and added the captions. Pretty cool to have that bit of history👍🏻 For those that don't know me, I'm the bass player. We were together till about 2005ish. When Marilyn Manson came out, we changed the name to Noise Bucket. At that time we also ditched the rhythm guitar and got a different drummer.
Thanks! Was a great time. That club/bar was a great place to play. Saw many national acts come through there. Shaun, the lead player/singer was good friends with the guy that booked the bands. We got to open for Accept, Slaughter, and Ronnie James Dio. 🤘🏼😈🤘🏼
The wife is doing an xmas craft show thing tomorrow. So I did some last minute display builds... A 15" two tier lazy susan. And she had a couple of these bamboo trees for displaying ornaments. So I replaced the narrow bases with pine and lazy susan spinners as well. Much less tippy.
True the 12" lazy susan bearing seems like it would reasonably be able to handle the off center weight without sagging/leaning too much. The smaller dia. ones not so much.

Opening for RJD !! Real treat/rush, yes?
Splendid and the video was fun to watch, Eric - you still have all that hair, man?
Just finished the new Netflix series Senna last night. I thought it was very good and would recommend it. Interesting how it is told through the Brazilian rather than Hollywood lens. Also, the “making of” episode was more than worth the watch to see how they did the cars and tracks

Dio was a complete gentleman. He met us as we were setting up, thanked us for being there, and offered his crew for anything we needed. Was definitely the best show we were ever a part of.
...as for the hair, no. Long story short, my thyroid stopped working and one of the effects of it was my hair falling out, and not just on my head. Reguadless, I don't miss it. It was nice, but the up keep.... kudos to women and men that deal with all that.

oops , grabbed the wrong thread previously to post to ....
Had to pick up a new battery for the XJ today , the two year old megatron interstates, after two years, wouldnt take a charge, even after cooking it for a day on the charger. I ended up getting a duracell "ultra" 690 CCA this morning hoping this one will last longer , 210 bucks! What brand have you guys used that have lasted longer than two or three years? P.S. I do not run any accessories or stereo system in this vehicle.
I buy Napa brand just because it’s close. My F150 is gonna need a battery very soon as it’s on its 7th year. I will be shopping around this time.
I've had really great luck with the house brand at Farm and Fleet. I buy their top of the line (Platnium Series). Last one was good for 7 years. The one before that 8 years.

Thanks, will check it out. He was a national hero and much loved.
Senna was a great driver, but his 'win at all costs' driving rather put me off; there's a great interview of Ayrton with Jackie Stewart where Jackie asks him why, among all the great champions, he felt the need to run into people and risk lives. Apparently Ayrton didn't speak to him for many years after that.
Same with Schumacher (who's in a very sad situation and has been for some years) : his deliberately running into Damon Hill to secure the championship was disgraceful. You never saw Stewart, Moss, Andretti, Fangio, Brabham or Clark etc doing that.
We had a couple of those situations occur growing up. If they are not ran in conduit, a rock can drop in the ground and wear on the jacket. Water gets in and corrodes the aluminum to aluminum oxide.
What was interesting about it, was that half the house had power and half acted like it was running at under 110vac. Dim displays, not turning on, etc. Not like half the house on one side vs. the other either. Half the kitchen worked, half not, etc, really weird all around. After the second occurrence, they put conduit in.

This is what I bought.

Nice!!
I tune my saw up at least once a year. I use my dial indicator to keep everything straight.
You've reminded me that I need to scrape, sand, & seal the top of my old Craftsman saw again. It's the price I pay for using it as a glue-up surface.
I'm so anal about my tools - my saw top gets carnauba wax twice a year and looks brand new.
Mine looks...well loved!

What makes a great recording?

When she is done with them you can convert them to a speaker measurement stand - very stealthy . . .
I was thinking the same thing....

Dio wasn't a tall fellow, right? Sometimes I'm surprised how big a persona comes from such a small front man.
Still, that had to have been fun...

Lost power in half the house, just because of this guy

What happened (caused that)?
No idea, the utility company replaced the 2 manifolds(?) and added an extension to that cable.
Looks like aluminum oxidation from a severed insulation jacket . . .
Yeah, the manifolds were super corroded as well.
