Low Fs, and other than the difficulty mounting a rectangular faceplate looks like a nice unit. Would make for a cool retro looking build if nothing else.

Had been wanting to experiment with Tekton style tweeter array. A $5 low FS tweet seemed like a good candidate to learn on. Would really only need 6 if I were to follow through and make a pair.
The Tekton build still turns out to a three way? The center tweeter takes the high, the surrounding ones do the upper mids and the mids and lows are taken up by the woofer? What happens to comb filtering I do not know - haven;t tried any arrays yet

Drew's, if that Tekton idea floats your boat go for it. To me it is a bad idea compared to a good mid with tight ctc spacing. All things are a compromise, I just don't like that set of compromises.

I work 2 miles from Meniscus and I will be at Parts Express Speaker Design Comptetition (August, Dayton, OH), CSS/Mensicus Event (September, Grand Rapids, MI) and Iowa DIY (October (usually), somewehre in IA). If anyone is intersted in these but not able to pick them up locally, I would be willing to bring them to you (within reason, I probably can't fit too many of them in my vehicle).
Seems well behaved by their graphs and decently high breakup peak for the size. Used the same sexy cast frame as peerless. Vented both the former and pole piece. Bracing for sticker shock.

I picked up a few today. Most of it at my Menards is actually 3/4" instead of 5/8".
Ugh, a 3/4" 4x8' sheet of MDF is $56 here now. If it came to it, I'd rather just spend the extra $14 and get their C grade birch ply instead.
