It didn't change it enough to make them awful. Chris Perez (PE thread) recently checked stock against a golden sample, and showed differences weren't too much of an issue.
Planning on the Dayton SD270A-88. I have had a pair for a long time, they deserve a box. Sealed with some DSP should sound pretty good and a pair should do way more than I require of a subwoofer.
You're link takes me to a page of 155 items, 140 of which are actually Peerless, 44 of which are actually in stock. Is that what you mean?
I have checked some of the tweeters, knowing they will eventually disappear, and PE does have several hundred in stock of some of those I checked. Of course Beast Mode and Corundum are gone.
This minimum order stuff confuses me. If it is minimum order, then PE would be able to make those orders and sell them. Unless Peerless put the kibash on selling those drivers individually, which I doubt. Only other thing I can think is Peerless raised the prices to the point where PE determined is no longer profitable enough to risk stuff sitting in the pallet and not moving.
It wouldn't surprise me if PE became a distributor for Peerless and one of the terms was that they would offer bulk purchase. Often distributors have different terms/requirements than dealers.

If Q goes up, would require a bigger box to attain same F3.
Kind of a bummer because that’s one of the ultimax’s selling points. Can go low in a smaller box than most sub drivers

Actually if Qts goes up, sensitivity drops and Qtc in the same size box will go up, but F3 will go down. A bigger box will make F3 even lower.

Just figured there'd be a lot less available by now.
Interesting to see that some of the Peerless drivers that were minimum qty 500 or 1000 are now back in stock. Hmmm?
I have lost track of which ones went out of stock. But I do remember the Peerless TC9FD18-08, which now has 1,212 in stock!!
I know for sure that the SLS 10" (830668) that Paul used in the Tarkus was minimum 1000 piece. Now they are showing 157 in stock.

Hopefully yours come shipped in boxes. Mine came in clear plastic wrap and have a few dings each. Meh.
That is very uncharacteristic of PE, IME.
I got lucky. Came in boxes with no packing but both are clean as can be with no blemishes
