When I was a teenager I always wanted a pair of Kicker subs and couldn't afford them after I spent all my line cook money on a pair of MTX Terminator 15" and a bunch of Coustic electronics. These are just about the coolest subs currently on the market. I don't think they will be around for very long, though.

They tend to do this in the solar world. Get a decent rep on the forums then water down the product but not the price.

Kicker was considered top of the line back then. Neat they brought the old logo back, to bad for that surround though.

Yep, manufacturer did it to improve gap clearances and prevent coil rub.
