Regardless, IMO still an interesting baffle (compound curves, ports, and edge work) and while for non-studio use I prefer a bit of BBC attenuation, for studio it’s a ruler.
I sold all my Iwata and Sata spray guns and bought 2 of these. These guns are the cats meow. I spray everything from one gun now.
Gelcoat,Clearcoat, basecoat, spray glue, pva all primer and paints. All interchangeable nozzles. https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/p/d/b5005168030/
I believe he’s talking about the paint. At one time I heard that it might only be available to commercial accounts and not to the general public but I don’t know if that’s true or not.
I have Sherwin Williams Emerald Urethane to paint some kitchen cabinets, and will probably go to my local SW store to ask them about the Gallery Series. I got the Emerald maybe 6 weeks ago and asked questions about their best paint and I'll be using a Graco airless sprayer, and they didn't mention the Gallery Series. I'll post what I find out.
I painted ours with the ‘Emerald about 2 years ago. This paint is 10 times better. > @a4eaudio said:

I really like the durability of the SW Emerald. I don't like that I can't thin it down enough to use a gravity feed HVLP. There's a bunch of waste when I use the airless or pressure pot gun
Emerald is also pricey, what's the Galley run compared to the Emerald?
Gallery retails around $120 a gallon I pay $75.21. Emerald I believe retails for $109 a gallon I pay around $65. But there is no comparison in the finish the sand ability, the hardness, no comparison.
Great looking finish 👍. Is that the black Total Coat underneath? BTW I have tried both black and white Total Coat and love it.
I went to Sherwin Williams web site and only size I saw was 1 gal. Way more than I could use for a pair or two of bookshelves. Would be cool if they had in 1 qt.

Did you use the pressurized 3M gun or thin down the paint/ gravity feed?

OK - I see your comment concerning polars and raise you a DI on top for good measure.
I think we can agree the response posted is inadequate for evaluation.
Also DI is implied in polars.

Yes. Apologies; I didn’t link the whole review, but it is exemplary, as fair as a 6.5” two way with waveguide is concerned.
The 5”, 1/4 cu ft version is just as thoughtfully designed:
Compete with amplification and analog/digital inputs for $2000/pair ; the price is not audiophool ridiculous

Very impressive performance overall.
It's not perfect with respect to bass extension and distortion, but difficult to find fault with anything else.

I dunno. Looks pretty good to me.

I used a 2.0 nozzle and medium air pressure. Sorry I don’t use gauges for for air pressure.
