Dayton has a bunch of new "CE" series mini drivers released. Not that it matters to us as we use real drivers, just pointing out they have yet to release a truly high end dome tweeter.
I have thought of integrating a slot into a handle before, but doing it to that degree of difficulty involves that which commercial companies have access to. Typically, mine would be more of the typical slot port.
Looks like Kii is going to give KEF some competition in the hi-end lifestyle market. Priced in a similar range ($7,790 for a stereo pair) as the KEF LS60.

Definitely an option. The difficulty, IMHO, lies in knowing what geometry to use to target a specific tuning. They may just be winging it for all I know, though.
I like those triangular ports that Neumann and some others are using. Seems to be a clever way of making use of dead space between the woofer and bottom of box, and also seems to tame the port resonances.
Wow! That's flat!
For a mastering/recording studio monitor it is perfect - Garbage-in, Garbage out as it were.
If the response were otherwise then the mix would compensate for the FR difference and it would result in a bad level playback on most systems . . .

Nice price for a car door woofer if you have some coaxials higher up in the door or dash I suppose.
Definitely with a Qts of 1 !

Although this one as a dedicated midrange is probably a helluva value:

Put a 2nd order knee in them at 900Hz and they might be useful as a full ranger too . . .
New to me anyways. Fancy spray nozzles.

That IS pretty cool!
Hope they don't clog-up easily during storage even after clearing them turning the can upside-down . . .
I know a Menards when I see it.

The offset coil could also be useful for reducing CTC to tweeter. Looks like a great midrange driver.
That's pretty nifty!
I was a little disappointed in the 2356 HD performance, especially for $144.

That messes with my OCD
Yeah ... I want to reach out and lift it up like a bra.
Half of me wants to kill it with fire. The other half wants to build a speaker with it just see friends and family question reality for a minute.
I find the 3-faceted phase plug more weird than the off-center cone.

Wait until you try to measure an MTMW... with the CTC with the tweet minimized and... "What, that's $576 a pair just for mids!?!"
Nevermind.
We mount our drivers off center, TB is just taking the idea a step further. Pretty nifty, I say...
If it didn't have a poly cone, I'd be tempted to buy a pair and give them a listen.
Kii Audio brings a 1/4 cu ft speaker in the marketplace.

A good way to make an integrate a long slot port which double duties as a handle:
Only thing it doesn't have is wireless power connection . . .

LOL… Slot area x length x fudge factor.

Pro audio been using those forever, nothing revolutionary.
clever designed baffle (not just the ports) and DSP flat (maybe too flat?)

Have to see polars before getting too excited.
See my comment re. polars.
