It was warm enough to ride one of the motorcycles back to work after lunch today! I was just wearing jeans and my legs were getting a little cold at 70mph. Tomorrow looks too chilly without sporting the winter overpants.
We had something like the 7th snowiest month on record as of the 20th of January. Ended up finishing the month with three consecutive record highs. Hit 66 yesterday, not normal for Idaho in January.

Small hijack- Since you are in potato land, you should meet up with Jon Marsh and Todd England.
I’ll be needing to do a little ‘freehand routing’ for the baffle on my current speaker project, and I saw this. I don’t play the guitar (I’ve tried) but this makes me want to build one and try again. Nice block of wood, cool looking diy guitar.
So I slipped on some ice yesterday morning and broke my fall by stiff-arming my left arm into my car. Now my shoulder is killing me, can't raise my arm without sheer pain. I am afraid I fucked my shoulder and shoulders take a long time to unfuck. Hope I didn't roast my rotator cuff, I have already had enough orthopedics to last a lifetime.
They left the majority of the runs un-groomed today. This is actually just a blue run…
I definitely need to put a lot more time on my bike this coming summer (‘course I said the same thing last year).
Weatherwise we have been pretty warm for January - but at the price of excessive fog. Makes for slippery mornings, as evidenced by my still very painful shoulder. No skiing at our local hill, despite them having a snow machine.
Scheduled a doctor appointment to get my shoulder checked out. I am guessing it will result in three minutes of "does this hurt" followed by a referral to an orthopedist. Sigh.
Good news is I still plan on attending Indy and hosting DDIY - at DDIY I may just need help moving tables and chairs and lugging my own speakers.

Our planet is f**ked!
The planet will be just fine. It's the things that live on it that will have a problem.
I took this picture in central Iowa on 2/1/2016 which is 2 months away from spring in Iowa.

We had a welder injured because they were wearing polyester. Damn kids.
I avoid fleece and nylon for that reason.

Not good
That hurts just thinking about it!
Hopefully not (from personal experience).
Hopefully some PT will help and no surgery. That sure sucks

Wife got me a steering wheel set-up for my PS4. Weather has been decent, so I've been building a simulator. Coming along nicely👍🏼
