Beryllium scan tweets, foil coils, they’re some $$ in the build. It didn’t sound like the seller was the designer/builder. Wonder how they ended up with them. It’s hard to tell from the pic but it kind of looks like the tweets not flush. If I had $500 tweets I would flush them. The ultimate buyer will probably snag them for less . . .
Want to add a little bottom end to your factory car? You could pair one of the GRS HE subs with this budget, old school type amp. Williston Audio Labs just put it on the dyno and it does a decent job in mono.
Check out the Mem-Day sale at Acoustas.com - you get a dead quiet 6 powered channel(s) amp with full DSP and smart phone/PC/iPadx UI wireless networked and more for the price of a MiniDSP Flex-8 (alone) all in one package . . . USA Made 2 year warranty and great tech support.

As a very reasonably priced alternative: In case you don't mind it looking somewhere between old school electronics and rack mount networking equipment... The Cheval SA series is pretty nice for the low cost. Lots of ventilation and internal mounting tabs that you can either attach your own mount plate to, or use the included mounting bars to attach the PCBs with standoffs.
I picked up one but still planning out it's use. I was pleasantly surprised how much precision there was in the stamping. Everything fit together perfectly and screw holes lined up. The material gauge looks typical for steel but it is aluminum. The lightness was worrying, however the stamping strengthens it much more than a flat steel panel. And once assembled and screwed together it feels way more rigid than the weight would lead you to believe is possible. Only quirk is with the mounting bars. It appears intended for nuts for the standoffs that you slide into the little rails in the bar extrusion. I think mine came with a few nuts, but I don't know the thread pitch.
Well...I just checked some HiVi drivers at PE that I looked at last week. Almost all are up about 10-15%. Venerable RT1.3WE has been $42 for as long as I can remember, now it is $48.98 (+17%).
I've been waiting a few months for the Peerless 830669 to come back in stock but PE says Peerless isn't shipping until tariff uncertainty is resolved. I may end up buying it from Europe.

Yeah, looked pretty impressive.. Except the lamp cord. But if it is copper it is probably fine.

I like his channel. I bought a couple NVX amplifiers because of how well they did on his dyno and how cheap they are.
Plus seeing how all the old school stuff did from back in the day.
Yep, Big D.

That's a lot of tweeter for $36.
Tweeter dilemmas... SB Acoustics SB29SDAC-C000-4 29mm textile dome tweeter for three bucks more: https://www.madisoundspeakerstore.com/soft-dome-tweeters-sb-acoustics/sb-acoustics-sb29sdac-c000-4-29mm-textile-dome-tweeter/
throw it on Brandon's waveguide and you get this:
So I violated a rule and bought a pair of those Wavecor buyouts.
Good Qc over there.
Looking at the off axis on the wavecor.. could make a good directivity match for an 8"?
I imagine they would be just fine in that application.
Did some homework for those interested where these buy outs came from.

Those prices are too good to be true!
Looks like they are based out of Thailand. The shipping will likely double the price, or more.
The one I got was from ebay as an open box item from someone in the states. So I have not ordered direct from them.
They're Here!!
