I grabbed this off the "Only available in Kentucky" rack today.
Muhlenberg by The Bard Distillery. I get a ton of caramel on the nose, then the first hit on the tongue is sensation of sweetness. That combines with the scent as a rush of caramel. Then comes the oak floor and a hefty rye-like peppery burn. Nearly kask strength at 52.5% so yeah, there is some burn involved. Pretty interesting for $40 I'd say.
