It is OK - but it is possible to age a whisky for too long, and that is the case with this one. Very woody and borderline bitter. Drinkable with a few caveats. IIRC it was just under $100 when I bought it.
Friday night we enjoyed some rye whiskey. Pretty solid pour if you are into that type. Inexpensive, to boot. I think CC gets a bad rap because their standard expression is just not that good but their other releases such as the 12 year are outstanding and priced pretty good.
