That sounds like some small outfit shit. I thought Monacor was big enough to have international shipping figured out. If it doesn't pass the gauss test, places in China we've worked with just add a piece of sheet steel on each internal wall of the box.
Maybe JF can brand name some special driver like CSS did. Personally it would be great if someone could figure out who made those RS28/ Focal tweeters and see if they offer similar designs.
Yeah, I was but hurt for awhile after Craig K. stopped the guy who inherited a ton of Focal drivers from selling me two tweeters. The tweeters were suppose to go with the Jeff B. focal woofers I scored. After that I sold those woofers to Ani.

That's a shame about the shipping delay. I just ordered some stuff online in the US domestically Monday and it just arrived in a nice box, well wrapped in bubble-wrap. Check out this cool 2.0mH inductor from Jule Fidelity / JFcomponents compared to a Part Express one. (I got 2.5mH too, but the PE one is currently inside a cabinet but to be replaced soon.)
In the top pic they are flush with each other on the right hand side to better show the length differential.

Huh, never thought about it, Figured that's why Chinese junk always took so long, it was by boat.
Nope most of it comes on a shipping aircraft. It’s called Express shipping.

My thoughts exactly. I thought they were kind of like a Parts Express but in the UK.

Constraints to growth ^.
Doesn't sound like they want to grow their market otherwise they would have had this figured out long ago.
It’s disappointing to me also. I won’t give up just yet tho.

These two drivers have my interest (just in case you manage to place an order):

I'd like to see some off-axis response data on them if that is available anywhere . . . UPDATE - Found some Data:

Those FR graphs look to good to be true.
From what I measured of Monacor drivers, they are...
Some of their drivers are really cool. There are several that remind me of old school Shack drivers (and I mean that in a good way).

RS28 were Ushers.
What Focal you mean? Most of their drivers are made in house.

This one below is the better of the two and my choice (HD less than 1% @90db):

Yeah my bad. I meant Usher wrote Focal. I'm not sure where that came from as I've not heard any Focal drivers that I would lust after.
Ben beat me to it. That's a tweeter worth reinventing.
Shhhh! Don't let Craig K hear you say that

It can happen to you too.
