Alot of times it seems when the back cover changes, the attachment method for the lead wires also changes. But the attachment point is actually part of the diaphragm piece so that changes as well. IMO another way for the original engineer to create a more proprietery product out of pretty basic standards.. But other companies reusing the design end up getting stuck with that aswell.
Only difference I can pick out when I look at specs is Rosso shows 44.3mm (1.74") VC, while Bianco shows 44mm (1.73"). that may hint to other differences as well.
