This thing looks good for 2L sealed mid duty or vented 9L 2-way. Looks like you could use it first order or second order crossover.
So I guess my question is how would you use it?
Looking for ideas on the next build.

2 way with a WG tweeter crossed low.
Good excuse to look for a nice ribbon or AMT that's not a RAAL
I'd use it just for the Charlie Brown cones, but that's probably just me.
Could keep with Wavecor and go with the TW030WA11/12. Not cheap, but built in small waveguide, low Fs (420 Hz), nice Sd (11.5 cm2) and decent Xmax (+/- 0.4 mm). Vance tested it: https://audioxpress.com/article/Test-Bench-Wavecor-TW030WA12-30-mm-Cloth-Waveguide-Loaded-Tweeter.html . Can you tell I always wanted to try it?
Fantastic pic!
Cool looking cat! Speaker is not too shabby either. "Kiss the paw I said"
I do have two pairs of TW030WA03_04 OEM tweets if I want to keep all Wavecor. Thought about a shallow waveguide in the front baffle and rear mounting them. I'm looking at directivities. I wonder though, do I need to worry about a waveguide at 2200 HZ LR4 for the combo? - 3dB at 2kHz, +/- 45deg. Image attached, tweet link below.

Of course I had to find this combo....

Did they machine that side chamfer right into the driver's frame?
Looks like that driver is offered as a truncated unit:

Went the waveguide route, all wavecor. Really wish I was close to someone that could measure this combo.
W....T.....F
With tools like that.. Yeah I realy wish you were near me. lol where are you again?
Those look great!
Washington DC area. Happy cinco de Mayo to all. Thank you Augerpro....this is your TW29tx step file cut on the cnc.

Looks great! Could you take distortion measurements? I'm pretty interested in this woofer.
Wow - super low 3rd order distortion, high QMS - what a winner!
But no longer available, as far as I can tell.
They haven't even been out more than a year I bet. Solen stocks them.

I bought mine off Vance so I actually have this pair in test bench... Obviously distortion graphs available in the article.

Second distortion source....

But Ben is right, Solen has them...
So here is my distortion measurement. Never done this before, so let me know if I should do anything differently.
Also, 1.8kHz 4th order on tweet and 2nd 1.8kHz on woofer for reference.
Depends what the noise floor is in your measurement space. Distortion level hovering around or below 30db . If that is close to your noise floor the accuracy may be a little wishy washy. Though it seems these measurements are always a relative approximation anyway. So I wouldn't sweat it too much. If you need to crank the volume to try and get better measurements that is probably a good sign, rather than bad.
Looks like the wood got some dents from handling. A damp rag and clothing iron should get them to raise up enough for sanding to handle the rest.
