12v trigger suggestions
I've got a WIIM Ultra with a 12v trigger output, and I want to turn on 2 vintage power amps and some other small boxes from my WIIM.
Reading various posts, there appear to be a number of ways this can fail.
I will need some kind of power strip or box that has at least 3-4 110v outlets.
Any tips from those of you who are experienced?
But Chahly - Stahkist don't want speakers that look good, Stahkist wants speakers that sound good!

Beat me to it. Make sure the devices you are planning to plug in have a power switch such that when the device is unplugged and replugged in, it will power back on as well as not create any loud pops. Glad you started this. I am in need or something like this as I couldn’t get the trigger on my bluesound to turn off. Seems like the streamers are meant to stay on and just sit. Are there any cheap and good 5.1 decoders (from hdmi or optical to 5x rca’s and sub out?)
I may have one of those units DB linked I think I bought for a laser engraver unless I sold it with that.
I picked up a 5 channel outlaw amp 5500 or 5000 I forgot the model. No ground wire. One preamp (lexicon mic-8) is dead silent on it the other preamp (onkyo) when it’s off makes the amp hiss. Grounding them together helped but didn’t resolve it. These are the only preamps that have a remote and a trigger that I have. The lexicon has a knock off remote that is barely useful. The amp does have a start up delay and some sort of relays I hear click a second or two after it turns on.
Hey @D1PP1N - I don't know if it is objectively "super high" fidelity, but I picked up a Soundblaster X4 box a couple of years ago to mess around with software crossovers. It has optical in and 7.1 channels out. ADC can do 24/192 out with 114dB snr.

^ I actually have the exact box they linked and found it right away! I’ll order the connectors linked and try it never even considered using it for audio purposes..
