Surprised he lived that long, guy was in rough shape. Hell of a musician and song writer.
I sat and drank with him about 30 years ago. He was a total D-bag. I wish my GF at the time didn't know he/they were playing in town that weekend and she didn't recognize him at the bar we were at. She loved that era of music... He liked staring at her awesome clevage and talking like he was some sort of King of the World. She left with me but he might have actually hooked up with the 50+ year old bartender with the baby pooch and huge tits that she was rub'n up on him. I don't know if that was his drug addiction years or not but he sure could pound the hard alcohol and seemed overly amped up on something. Just my personal experiece with him.
I'm not a hater. It's just that all their songs sound the same to me and I hate that every car show I go to that's mostly all they have blaring on the crappy PA. Might be one reason the younger generation isn't too interested in going to car shows anymore. Not to mention that lion in the jungle song... rant off!

Yeah I know it wasn't the BB's. Just another song that gets played 10 to 20 times a day at car shows around here.
