I recall Dave Pellegrene made one once with the AC AST2560 running dipolar into 2 waveguides and a B&C 8" Neo woofer below it doing the same. It likely was around 2011 or 2012. He had a sub he paired with them, but they didn't need it except for the really low stuff. The takeaway for me was that the higher sensitivity helped offset the dipolar losses.
