I used a fiberglass resin tint for this. Made by total boat. But I believe there could be something else out there that might be way cheaper than this.
Zebrawood is tricky in that sense. It's a splintery wood, try working with the solid stuff....can be a real pain....but it's still my favorite looking wood.

What adhesive are you using for the felt ? I tried a spray and it does a great job with sticking to my fingers and it stinks- thx

something from mixol might work
I think alumilite pigments will work. I’ll check tomorrow. It would be great if it does. It’s only like $6 a bottle
