I cringe whenever I see folks using a brad nailer while holding things together real close. They have obviously never had one curl and shoot out the side into their finger. I suppose that is more of an issue with wood rather than MDF. But that is a mistake you only make once.
I leave that 3.5" framing nail negligently shot through my shop entrance door there as a regular reminder of what can happen when you become complacent with power tools.

Or twice, three maybe, not four, only a dumbass would shoot a nail into there hand four times in their life.

Buddy did that with a framing nail. Got all 4 fingers with one nail
I had bought these https://www.parts-express.com/Kustom-Groove-215H-Bi-Radial-90x90-Horn-1-3-8-18-TPI-299-2264?quantity=1 some time ago, put some PRV 40 buck ish titanium compression drivers in them. Sounded promising. Was prototyping with pair of dual epic7's and active dsp. But I could never figure which was the correct orientation. Think in my small listening room ended up preferring with curvier parts on top-bottom. Someday revisit that foray into compression drivers but not eager as loved the detail and dispersion but i'm sucker for some tweets that just have that sprinkle of 2nd order where center image projects, 3d thang. In my down time from injury and general burnout of audio, have been pontificating what to build with the various things that have acquired - might create thread to get opinions but my manner of speaking/typing seems to gather no interest thus I lose interest/motivation. Luckily last 6-8 weeks been running same speakers that have suited my taste well which just compounds that lack of pursuit.
Though I also saw these and was intrigued... that's the thing that usually motivates me is to try and experience different approaches.

Agreed, for myself, it’s the ‘try something different’ that gets my blood going. This blog is great (imo) as the members each seem to have something interesting in the works to ‘borrow’ and maybe extrapolate from.

Yeah that seems to be the way it goes here. Quite a bit more stoic than diyaudio.
I had a hiatus a few years ago before I joined this forum. Proably gets us all. I feel another one coming, but hopefully no so hard this time.
When I was young I worked construction for a year and the company I worked for had in the past done a remodel in a hospital. A nail from a nail gun went through a wall and hit the guy on the other side in the jugular vein. He would not have survived had he not been working in a hospital.

Is the horn connected appropriately? ie rotated ?
My thoughts also, but what do I know.!

Not sure why he chose to rotate it. Maybe he has a very narrow room?

If you don't need surgery it shouldn't count
IMO this is a neat idea. I've got parts lying around that could make a clone of sorts.. could be interesting.

Energy does travel in waves.
. . . and everything is cyclical . . . even obsessions . . .
