Who's the Dana Carvey looking fellow with the VERY CLEAN looking Roger's pair, and who built the Proteus clones?
I see Brek too, don't I with the SB Minis?
Are these your project Tom? I really dig the look!
Thanks! These are a mixture of recycled parts. The main boxes and Rival woofers are from the project I brought to Ankeny a few years back. The tweeters are from my first solo design that used the 8” MCM subwoofer. All I purchased were a few caps from Brad.
I had a great time! Very relaxed, great speakers and some cool tunes. And we had lots of time to talk shop and many other topics. Special thanks to JR & his wife for all the prep work and the fantastic grub Friday night.
After hearing my speakers in a different room, I have a few small tweaks to try. Thanks to Nick for the tutoring - I'm already making some progress and have eliminated 3 parts!
Nice set of pictures, Tom! Thanks for posting. Very sharp and professional looking. Were these taken with a cell phone or a more expensive SLR type camera? My guess would be cell, but they look too good to be phone pics!
I still have those two big inductors that you gave me a couple years ago. So if you need some more copper for your xover revisions, let me know!

Let the fun begin!
I have way too much copper in my entry!
10 woofers in total!
MAC drivers make another showing in JR’s small towers.
Great looking room/chairs and projects!

This a local Sioux Falls guy named Gar who also brought the Rogers monitors. These are his design from years ago.
This is what Brad can do with spare scraps! MAC drivers on display again!
Good times.

I was traveling very light for this event, so it's just the phone.
Yes, very nice pictures. Thanks for that Tom!
Chris Bryant brought those.
I did, but only for a few seconds lol.
What are we, 7 years old?
You, too?
