I noticed the new LW5004 measurements. Couple of observations. The directivity looks very wide out to 3kHz. Is it that big dustcap making for a wider directivity at the upper frequency range? Also, I'm thinking that the 2.83V annotation in this graph is incorrect. I doubt it's hitting 90dB at 1kHz at 2.83v.

The FR will be the SPL at 1 m at 2.83 V. Distortion will be louder because the microphone is closer, so the distortion measurement is at a half meter
There was a lot in those drivers to me that pointed to TB. The cone structure with the bumped reinforcement, the dual or M surround, and the motor looking like that of the other Neo motors they have offered.
The frame is resin, right? They also do a lot of that too.

Those little fellers are currently $250/pr on Amazon. Damn.
Distortion levels are pretty amazing too.
That impedance trace barely hits 2x Re at 20Khz. There's got to be a copper demodulation device somewhere in that neo motor.
wonder what's causing that little shelf around 2.KHz; thought in car audio DSP easy to filter out...

I was looking at the 105 to replace some rotten speakers, this is promising.

Buyout 4x6 from PE.

^ That is a very interesting driver based upon its FR/Distortion graphs - not sure what I would use them for but they make me wonder . . .
Nicely done
I have a 4 pack of those 4x6 drivers. Been thinking about "hidding" them down firing under a full range to take up some of the low end slack.
Dang, 45Hz Fs on a 4x6!😎
To bad the sensitivity is low on the 4x6

The iron law strikes again. Technically it's not in an enclosure, but you get my point.
It was one of those drivers where I had to double check the voltage because it didn’t sound loud enough.

Brad, did you throw the purifi on the big board? interested in seeing the details of it.
Maybe later sometime later. I’m doing full measurements with the cabinets now.
