I clear coated my sisters car hood after my daughter applied a floral pin stripe and it was terrible. It took me a half day to half ass buff out all of the dust.
I later talked to a guy that owned some automotive paint stores and he told me that you cant do that in a wood shop, too many cellulose fibers floating around.
Interesting mounting concept. "Capacitor Cradles" with cable ties! Maybe 3D print a few plastic versions that can hug and shock mount various diameter caps inside a circular cushion of soft foam rubber?
I thought about cnc -ing some walnut type of cradles but finishing them before Iowa would not happen so these I have on the shelf and it only took about 30 mins to modify.
I like using the ground bars too when needed. I had to use them in the Attitudes because I had so many components at one junction. Very handy, very secure.
Are those copper-oil caps on your website?
A metal screw in the inductor MIGHT make a difference on your design. If you haven't measured it I think it is worth checking.
Beautiful work as always, thanks for sharing.

I am saying this because because I am just a guy who makes cabinets. I do 20 to 30 percent gloss. 80 gloss is beyond me.

They pop pretty well, it's a pretty cool solution.

IME, steel screws will add to value, but brass and stainless-steel won't.
