They are OK. For that much I would pass. These saws are not very serviceable and many can not be fixed. A cabinet saw is well worth the expense if you are going to keep the tool for a while.
As a part-time sawdust maker (and remembering my grandfather who had an accident with his power tools, and my HS shop dayz...) I recently went with a SawStop Jobsite Pro. Their Contractor Saws do come with a stepped-up fence and extended table (for a price), but it all works for me.
This table is extremely hard to beat for the price! Very heavy saw with long extended rails for the substantial fence. That is a Kobalt Router table built into the end of the table saw.
