  • Thanks Jim. I was aware of the dip in FR at 1500, which i think is due to the surround. The 6.5" satori also has a similar dip. I wasn't aware of the corresponding rise in distortion. The price is pretty tempting now and i was looking at getting a pair.

    regards

  • Heh, I don't even remember the thread I posted these in.
Bohdan changed SE distortion measurements and I haven't tried latest version yet.

Honestly, I never worry about dips which I've considered sins of omission. However the the strong 2nd order distortion does concern me even though its 2nd order. 3rd order would be an instant show stopper.

  • Missed it... the sale price on the Satori's are gone.... Anybody get any?
  • Got a pair of mw13p.
............. could you hum a few bars.
  • Hi Kenny could you post the measurement and verify the distortion?
  • I'd bee very interested in that too!

  • These measurements are with the speakers sitting face up on a table and near field.

  • There is a spike, but it looks very mild, under 0.1%? Or am I reading incorrectly?
  • If I'm reading it correctly, 3rd order looks great but 2nd order is 1%? That looks like it's more than comparable drivers have. Maybe I'm wrong but that's a more than the NE's that I'm fond of.
