Quickest Way to Tell if a Driver is Damaged?

Hey all, I purchased some open box drivers on ebay.  What is the quickest way to tell if they are ok?  Beyond physical inspection, can you simply use DATS to measure free air parameters, or do you all do more? 

For example, I have one with a damaged dustcap, but everything looks fine when I measure free air.  Thank you!

DATS can give a quick assessment of it and a frequency sweep can also help any weird buzzes or sounds. A dented dust cap won't really effect it's sound, unless it's truly used for fullrange extension.

Dented dustcaps can affect as low as 1000-2000.
