  Tecate Industries products, being the TI. I've had some of them before and the value measured 2-3uF low on 18uF parts. As for the sound, if you care, they really had a closed-in midrange, not open at all. Also be advised that these are MET/MKT, not MKP. They will have higher DCR than even standard range Dayton caps due to construction and materials.

  I also have some yellow TI 18uf I bought from Alex Jr that all measure within 2-3% - or better. Same with a handful of 15uf yellow TI.

  It caps twice as fast. Actually, I think there might be a non-audio application for voltage dividers, timers, or other stuff that capacitors are good for. Or they may just expect people to break one lead off. Or maybe we are now getting to the point where we bi-wire drivers.

  It's a slightly different construction. It's called a Kelvin connection:

  That aside- I have used these caps before, like them, and noticed no negatives. It's basically an interleaved dual-wound capacitor, not unlike the Mundorf Supreme, Audyn Plus, or Jantzen Z-Sup/Silver.

  Kelvin connection is used for accurately measuring very low reactance, but not much in the literature on applications beyond that. Unless there is a feedback circuit involved, no benefit is gained from a Kelvin connection.

  All I'm saying is that it's double wound as illustrated, and therefore, non-inductive.
