Powermatic Model 66 Table Saw FS

Thought I'd throw this out there in case anyone coming to the Detroit DIY event wants to come home with a table saw. Only getting rid of it because the shop at CSS is climate controlled , so I never use my garage shop anymore. I debated storing it until I can set up my "dream shop", but retirement is still a ways off. It's a 3-phase motor, but I've been running it with a rotary phase converter, which is available as well if needed. This allows it to run on 1ph 220V residential power.

This saw is definitely worth the hype. It's a brick shithouse and cuts as square, true and clean as anything I've ever used. Lot's of goodies included per below, but NOT the Jessem roller guides, which I'll be transferring to the CSS shop.

Powermatic Model 66

  • 5hp 3ph Baldor motor
  • 52" rip capacity
  • Left Tilt
  • Biesmeyer fence
  • Wixey digital readout
  • Mobile base
$1,350 for everything above and I'll throw in the integral router table/router and outfeed table if you want them.
$400 for the rotary phase converter, which has a 5hp motor itself, allowing the table saw to run at 3.33hp.

I'll give it a week or so here, then off to FB Marketplace.

Yeah, it does exactly what you want it to. The Wixey gauge is the shit too. Set it to 8.5" and it's 8.5" on the dot and perfectly square with the current setup. Not excited to part with it, since it will certainly still be cutting clean cuts when I'm long gone, but storing it for the next 15 years is not a great option.

  • This is a killer deal. Somebody needs to grab this.

  • Hell I don't need it but that is an incredible deal!

  • The deal is just for the MAC crew, btw. It won't be this cheap when it goes up on FB.

  • That is one nice saw. Had one in a shop once a long time ago. Better than the Uni-Saws imo. Killer deal.
