Has anyone tried to remove the phase plug from the U18RNX/P or similar?

If it is like Dayton RS woofers a brass punch and a hammer through the rear vent hole worked for me. Not sure if the same approach is feasible.
I've also had drivers where phase plugs were kept with a single screw.
Pretty sure there is a screw on the back. The last Seas driver that was not Excel that I looked at with a phase plug had a plastic plug. I think my U18 do too.
