No shit !!!! Hmmmm , Ill pass.
I often have to remind myself that I am looking at retail prices. Good chance that any oem using these are buying them around $30-40 each and the price probably goes down considerably if buying in large quantities. Manufacturers also need to keep the retail cost high to increase the preceived value for anyone that would be buying a completed speaker made with this driver.
More and more I find myself happy to have options even if I dont take advantage of them.
Those look a whole lot like Pro-Ac monitors. The tweeters are used in the Response 1S, and the enclosure layout with 'hard-panned' tweeters are also very Pro-Ac looking.
