Looks interesting but the $ isn't funny . . .
That breakup is pretty gnarly and low in frequency on the paper cone. Makes it unusable in a 2-way. It does have good extension for a 7" so could anchor a small 3-way if one were so inclined.
The textreme is slightly more usable, but would still require a low crossover point IMHO.
Would love to see distortion plots.
I guess when it comes to very spendy ugly woofers, I'll take Purifi every time.
Easy on the ugly woofer remarks.
