Not sure I understand
I guess it looks cool. But seems like alot of wasted space. Am I missing something?

I watched it. As for the design, they are small Vas 15" woofers. The port has to be long and bigger than the box since he is using 3x 6" diameter ports just to get the tuning low enough. Essentially, the second driver mounts through what could be called a resonant chamber slot, port extension, or even horn loaded extension because the cross sectional area increases to the mouth. All he really did was find a way to install 2x 15" woofers in an SVS 15" Ultra style box, and make it kinda look like an old M&K.

Would have gone dual opposed to get rid of vibrations and uneven cone sag across the 2 drivers. A standard ported box with 3 ports going into a slightly larger area port where the three pipes go into the slot port?
It's different and cool looking for sure
