We got some in a stash of sheet goods from a local place that went out of business. MDF dust is already gross and this black stuff is even more gross, but it worked perfect in this application. I would definitely use it again if the situation called for it.
I'd love to get some of the black MDF as well but I have to take a trailer truck full to get it here in the SE US.

The Europeans seem to use a lot of Valchromat colored MDF. It's very hard to get it in smaller quantities here in the US.

The concern for use in positioning would be the large front to back distance required, so a more open and large room would likely follow suit. They are what 2.5-3' deep?
Oh, and what do you call them? Pinwheels? Or did I miss it?

That's definitely a concern, but maybe not as much for someone who's listening room would match this style (i.e. rich 😆). I called them the Vectors, but never said it in the video.

Yeah it's very well thought out on that DeWalt router. The open baffle comments were bugging me too. I'm really not a fan of open baffle midrange.
