As far as design ideas go, this one seems pretty far out there. I'll be interested to see (or hear) what you do with it.
Feet! Just 1" aluminum square stock cut to shape, drilled and tapped. The rubber feet are held on with 8-32 screws.
Simple design and looks good.
Tweeter mount.
