  Yes, a well performing ribbon, perfectly usable down to 2kHz which can't be said for a lot of them.
  

  
  

  Hificompass also tested the smaller RT850 some time ago, however I thought its performance was lacking for any reasonably high SPL, where the SRT7 doesn't have any issue.

  RT-850 was mainly designed as a smaller format tweeter for 3-way loudspeaker. SRT7 is a beast and can cross to a 6" or 7" woofer.
